This year, KolKol introduced a new way to enjoy the KolKol experience with the launch of our gas-heated option. The KolKol Luna is now available in both wood-fired and gas, giving you the choice of how you want to heat and enjoy your hot tub.

While both options offer the same relaxing KolKol experience, the way you use them is quite different - and it really comes down to what matters most to you.

Wood-fired for the ritual, gas for the convenience

There is something special about a wood-fired hot tub. Lighting the fire, watching the flames and waiting for your tub to heat all form part of the experience. It's outdoorsy, hands-on and authentic. For many KolKol owners, the fire isn't simply a way to heat the water - it's part of what makes the experience so enjoyable.

The wood-fired Luna is ideal if you love that traditional approach and don't mind getting involved. You will need to have firewood on hand, tend to the fire and clean up the coals and ash afterwards. But if you enjoy the process, that's all part of the fun.

The gas Luna takes a more convenient approach. There is no firewood to prepare or store, no fire to tend and no coals or ash to clean up afterwards. The gas system can be operated from the hub dashboard or remotely through the KolKol app, making it easy to control your hot tub without having to build a fire first.

It's a great option if you want your hot tub to be simple and easy to use, particularly if convenience and less cleanup are high on your list.

So, wood-fired or gas?

If you love the atmosphere of a real fire and the ritual of preparing your hot tub, choose wood-fired. If you prefer easy operation, less preparation and the convenience of remote control, gas could be the option for you.

There is no right or wrong choice - it's simply about how you want to enjoy your KolKol.

Wood-fired for the ritual. Gas for the convenience.
